The Reality-
Many Families Face

Adoption is life-changing—but for many families, the journey stops before it truly begins.

The Cost Barrier

  $30,000–$50,000

  Average cost of adoption

For many families, this becomes the biggest obstacle.

The Drop Off

  Too many stop

Families begin the journey— but can't finish.

  Financial pressure forces difficult decisions.

The Children

  Children are Waiting

Loving homes are ready— but need support.

  The gap isn't willingness — it's resources.

Every adoption story is unique.
Costs and timelines can vary depending on travel, placement, and how long a family must remain in the child’s birth state before returning home.

But one thing remains constant:

The journey often requires more than families expect—both financially and emotionally.

As Scripture reminds us:

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11

Adoption journeys don’t always follow our timeline—but they unfold with purpose, even in the waiting.

In recent adoptions, families supported through Legacy of Blessings were able to fully fund their journey through a combination of:

  • Lifesong for Orphans

  • Both Hands projects

  • Grants from Legacy of Blessings Adoption Foundation

Together, these resources helped remove financial barriers and make adoption possible.

Because when the timing is right, everything changes.
